The beauty of the rockpools down by Brighton Marina was my sanctuary during lockdown earlier this year.  You can explore, clamber out to your own rock of solitude and stare at the endlessly changing ocean.  Bliss.

The depth in the oil painting is due to the many layers of oil and texture as it does love.  It also allows the painting to feel as if it moves and changes in the light as does the landscape in reality.  It draws you in and offers sanctuary.
